AGM - Weds 16th October

At this year’s AGM, held at the Cart and Horses, Commonwood on 16th October, the new executive team introduced ourselves; it’s great to welcome Alex and Laura!

A key feature of the agenda was our decision to change to Sarratt and District RA, and explaining what it means. The alignment with the parish means that we can better represent, and encourage participation from, people living across the whole parish of Sarratt. An overview of this year’s events illustrated the need to be ‘stronger together’. 

The Green Belt is facing significant challenges, and there was discussion about the Burlington case at Sarratt; the Three Rivers Local Plan; and the wider threat to our environment with the return of Government house- building targets.

Lastly, there was a reminder that all residents are welcomed as members and subscriptions are voluntary; but we ask for contribution by way of a Standing Order for £5 or £10pa to cover our running costs.
